I could say that I should write a post on “doing something worth doing” – but I’m not sure that I could, right now. Be that as it may, this song is really speaking to me these days, so sooner or later, I’m going to not only “do something”, but have something to else to say about it.
For now, here’s a Matthew West song that I think says it quite well.

Isn’t it? There are lots of good “action” lines, but the most effective one for me at the moment is, “It’s not enough to do nothing / it’s time for us [me] to do something”. I’ve already tried doing nothing…it’s probably time for me to do something.
