Oh man! The colour and form are so rich. I wonder what is it’s name?
I wish I knew the name. Bought a dozen at a local grocer on Christmas Eve. They came from Colombia. I’ll post some more pictures of them later. They definitely inspired the poem. Thanks for the comment!
From Colombia to US? You are taking good care of them to get that quality rose.
Actually, I just bought them as cut flowers at a local grocery store. But a label on their plastic wrapper said they came from Colombia. This is true for many flowers in grocery stores.
Truly, I was surprised too by how beautiful they were and how good they looked in the pictures I took. I’ll be posting a few more over the next week.
I thought the rose was from a plant you were growing, now I understand it is from bought cut flowers. Yes cut flowers are now being imported from S.America and S.Africa. Ah but that does not take away from its beauty. Yes post more pics.
