Here’s a rose – bedraggled, forlorn, shrivelled and dried – for all of us who didn’t have anyone to celebrate Valentine’s Day with.

To next year – may we not wait, but spend the time preparing ourselves to be better Valentine’s for others than we have ever had for ourselves! (I’m not naming names, but am I thinking of someone….)
